Chief Foley started his career as a deputy sheriff for the San Patricio County Sheriff's Office in 1995. While at SPSO he served in corrections, prisoner transport, patrol and as a precision rifle operator on the tactical response team. He accepted the position of patrol officer with Terrell Hills Police in 2004. Since that time Chief Foley has been promoted to detective corporal, detective sergeant, lieutenant and assistant chief of police.  He is a class 66 graduate of the LEMIT Leadership Command College held at Sam Houston State University and a session 251 graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Chief Foley holds a Bachelors of Applied Science Degree in Justice Administration from Wayland Baptist University. He has logged over 5000 hours of training with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Chief Foley is fond of quoting the last line of our mission statement, "always treat people with dignity, fairness and respect."
