The City of Terrell Hills is accepting applications for the position of police officer.

STARTING RATE: $47,105.88 to $54,764.75 yearly depending on experience, education and professional certification pay. Overtime pay and uniform allowance provided.

BENEFITS: TMRS 7% 2 to 1 City match, 100% employee medical/dental/vision insurance paid,22 vacation days per year, 8 hours sick time earned per month. Beards and tattoos permitted per policy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicant must be certified and licensed in Texas as a Police Officer, hold a basic TCOLE certification and have a valid Class “C” Texas driver license with an acceptable driving record. Applicants must pass a written examination, background investigation, interview, pre-employment physical, psychological (if required) and pre-employment drug screen tests; also have the ability to work any shift.
