TERRELL HILLS POLICE DEPARTMENT MISSION

Our mission is to promote, preserve and deliver security and safety to all citizens of Terrell Hills, creating the safest possible environment throughout the geographical boundaries of the city.

To fulfill this mission, the officers of the Terrell Hills Police Department will:

> Take positive decisive action when criminal activity is observed or reported.

> Investigate all criminal activity to the greatest possible extent and to make every effort  to keep the crime victims informed about the progress of investigations involving them or   their property.

> Develop and maintain programs encouraging crime prevention and traffic safety.

> Improve traffic safety on all city streets by constant, vigilant enforcement of traffic  laws.

> Resolve law enforcement issues by fostering a positive working relationship between the police department, residents, business owners, and other involved persons.

> Respond quickly and safely to all requests for police services, treating all involved individuals with dignity and respect.

> Work consistently in a quality manner in the daily performance of our duties, job responsibilities, and work tasks.

> Co-operate and co-ordinate with other city departments, especially the fire department, in all common areas pertinent to the health and safety of the residents of Terrell Hills.
